Day 32,33,34,35 of 40

This is a catchup post on my 40 day challenge. I only made it to day 35 before the massive amounts of pollen came making it difficult to breathe in the mornings. Therefore my workouts suffered, I am hoping to get back on track this week. I actually miss getting up at 4:30am and completing my workouts.

Days 32 – 35 were during the week following my half marathon, so I focused on yoga to help my muscles recover. Day 32 and 33 were strictly 46 minute yoga sessions from Exercise TV. Day 34 and 35 were a mix of yoga and ab work also from Exercise TV. Not only have my workouts suffered but my energy levels have fallen as well. Working out first thing makes a huge difference. I was able to get a few 3 miles runs in during the last 2 weeks as well, alone with walking with the kids and yard work, but they were all mid day activities.

Day 31 of 40

I woke up at my usual time but wanted to take it easy. I found stretching for runners on Exercise TV and completed that along with some AM yoga. It felt good just to stretch my muscles to help keep them loose for my half tomorrow.
